The best way to fully appreciate the wonderful range and quality of paintings we have is to visit our new gallery in St James London or to meet us at one of the many art fairs we attend in the UK and USA. You will always be made most welcome

We are always happy to bring paintings to your home or office for you to try and to discuss hanging and lighting. For our clients in North America we can generally arrange to send paintings on approval.

Selling Art

We are always interested in purchasing fine paintings and particularly appreciate existing clients offering paintings back to us when considering a disposal, perhaps when upgrading or changing the direction of a collection. Many of the artists we handle regularly are listed in the artist index

Selling you painting through Oakham ensures discretion and confidentiality, difficult to achieve at public auction. A private sale often achieves a better price and allows a more measured and less pressured decision process. If a lot fails to sell at auction this information is as widely distributed as the catalogue itself and this can have a negative effect on future prospects for sale.
